How the High Promoter Holding Stocks screen works
A stock is listed when it is an NSE-listed equity share and meets every condition below:
- Promoter holding of 60% or more
- Latest quarter sales growth of 10% or more, year on year
- Market cap of ₹500 Cr or more
Results are sorted by promoter holding, highest first. A large promoter stake aligns the owners with minority shareholders. The growth filter removes holding companies and stagnant businesses.
High Promoter Holding Stocks: common questions
Does high promoter holding include pledged shares?
Yes, the holding figure counts pledged shares too. Check the shareholding section on each stock page for the pledged percentage, since a heavily pledged stake carries different risk.
How current are the financial figures?
Ratios built from results, such as growth, ROE, ROCE and margins, update as companies file their quarterly results. Price-based ratios such as P/E and P/B move with the share price every trading day, so a stock can enter or leave the screen between results.
Is every stock on this list a good investment?
No. A screen narrows thousands of listed companies down to those that meet a set of numeric conditions. It does not look at management, valuation history, sector outlook or news, so treat the list as a starting point for research.
