Frequently asked questions

What does this page show?
The portfolio holdings of major Indian mutual fund schemes, grouped by fund house. Open a scheme to see which stocks it owns, how much of the fund each one takes, and which positions the manager added to, cut or exited since the previous disclosure.
Why look at what mutual funds hold?
Fund holdings show institutional conviction: which stocks professional managers are buying, selling or holding, and how strongly. Stocks held widely across schemes have strong fund backing. The monthly report on stocks mutual funds are buying adds up net buying and selling across all schemes.
How often are mutual fund holdings updated?
Indian mutual funds disclose their full portfolios every month, within about ten days of month end. A portfolio can be around 40 days old just before the next one comes out, and the date above the data shows when the latest one was captured.
