It offers a well-diversified range of products and risk management solutions through multiple distribution channels.[1] It was established in 2001 as a JV between ICICI Bank and Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. ICICI held 64% stake and the rest was held by JV partner. Fairfax Financial exited in 2019 by selling its remaining 5% stake in the company for ~2,600 crores.[2]
